Privacy policy

This notice explains how AM Ingegneria collects, uses and protects the personal data of people who visit this site or get in touch, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Last updated: 11 September 2026

1. Data controller

The controller for personal data collected through this site is Andrea Menicucci, proprietor of AM Ingegneria, based at Via Garibaldi 20/B, 06070 San Mariano di Corciano (PG), Italy. For any request concerning the processing of your personal data, you can write to info@am-ingegneria.it.

2. What data we collect

Browsing data. This site does not use profiling cookies or third-party analytics or tracking tools (such as Google Analytics), and it does not show advertising. As with most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record some technical data (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) in server logs, for security purposes and to keep the service running properly. We do not cross-reference this data with other information or use it to identify individual visitors.

Contact form. The form in the Contact section does not send any data to a server: the "Prepare email" button simply opens the visitor's own email application with a message already filled in from the fields entered (name, company, email, phone and message). None of this information is transmitted to, collected by, or stored on this site. If the visitor chooses to send the message that has been prepared, the details are sent directly to info@am-ingegneria.it through the visitor's own email service.

Direct communications. If you contact us by email, the information you provide (such as your name, email address and the content of your message) is processed solely to respond to your enquiry and manage any resulting relationship.

3. Cookies

This site does not use profiling cookies or third-party tracking cookies. No web-analytics tools, advertising pixels or social-network plugins capable of tracking your browsing are installed.

4. Legal basis and purposes of processing

Processing of technical browsing data is based on the controller's legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and functioning correctly (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Processing of any data you provide by email is based on your own initiative in contacting us and, where this leads to a working relationship, on the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

5. Data retention

Any technical browsing data recorded in server logs is kept for no longer than is strictly necessary for the security purposes described above, and in any case in line with the retention period set by our hosting provider. Data exchanged by email is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting professional relationship, plus any further period required by law for accounting, tax or other statutory obligations.

6. Recipients and data transfers

Technical browsing data may be processed by our hosting provider, acting either as a data processor or as an independent controller depending on the contractual arrangements in place. Personal data is not sold, rented out or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. We do not systematically transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access — obtain confirmation of whether we process your data, and access it;
  • rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data;
  • erasure — ask us to delete your data, in the cases set out in Article 17 GDPR;
  • restriction — ask us to restrict processing, in the cases set out in Article 18 GDPR;
  • objection — object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format, where technically feasible.

To exercise these rights, write to info@am-ingegneria.it. If you are in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it). If you are in the UK, the equivalent rights apply under the UK GDPR, and complaints can be directed to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

8. Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how the site works. The current version will always be available at this address, together with the date it was last updated.
